This Week's Memory Work: First Catechism Questions:
FC 32 – What was the sin of our first parents? Eating the forbidden fruit.
FC 33 – Who tempted them to this sin? Satan tempted Eve first, and then he used her to tempt Adam.
FC 34 – How did Adam and Eve change when they sinned? Instead of being holy and happy, they became sinful and miserable.
Shorter Catechism Questions:
WSC 25 – How does Christ execute the office of a priest? Christ executes the office of a priest, in his once offering up of himself a sacrifice to satisfy divine justice, and reconcile us to God, and in making continual intercession for us.
