FC 27 – Did Adam keep the covenant of life? No – he sinned against God.
FC 28 – What is sin? Any thought, word or deed that breaks God's law by omission or commission.
FC 29 – What is a sin of omission? Not being or doing what God requires.
FC 30 – What is a sin of commission? Doing what God forbids.
Shorter Catechism Questions:
WSC 23 – What offices does Christ execute as our Redeemer? Christ, as our Redeemer, executes the offices of a prophet, of a priest, and of a king, both in his estate of humiliation and exaltation.
