This Week's Memory Work:  First Catechism Questions: FC 23 – What covenant did God make with Adam? The covenant of life.  FC 24 – What did God require Adam to do in the covenant of life? To obey him perfectly.  FC 25 – What did God promise in the covenant of life? To reward Adam with life if he obeyed him.  FC 26 – What did God threaten in the covenant of life? To punish Adam with death if he disobeyed him. Shorter Catechism Questions: WSC 22 – How did Christ, being the Son of God, become man? Christ, the Son of God, became man, by taking to himself a true body, and a reasonable soul, being conceived by the power of the Holy Ghost, in the womb of the virgin Mary, and born of her, yet without sin.
